Featured in San Diego Home & Garden magazine’s Kitchens of the Year 2016, understated elegance epitomizes this refined Jamul home. Escaping the city life, the homeowners sought a low-maintenance, updated kitchen exuding tranquil sophistication.
A boxed-in, outdated space was transformed into a modestly lavish cooking haven. Relocating the peninsula allowed the kitchen to open into the adjacent family room. A structural post once buried inside a partition is now disguised as a countertop column. A coffered ceiling and cabinets of various heights add depth and dimension, while the decorative columns balance and define the extended kitchen. An inviting palette of soothing whites and calming blue/grays, complemented by chrome fixtures, are grounded by warm, wood flooring; together forming a fresh, serene atmosphere.
Megan provided multiple design plans. She incorporated our style with her expertise and created the kitchen of my dreams. She is professional, honest, conscientious and I can't say enough great things about her.
