For me, design has always been about so much more than aesthetics, it’s about creating soulful, timeless spaces that truly nurture well-being. Every choice, from the materials we touch to the details we live with every day, shapes how a home feels, and in turn, how we feel in it. And when those choices also celebrate American craftsmanship and sustainable practices, the results are even more meaningful!!
One of my favorite examples is one of our award-winning project featuring Vahallan’s hand-painted Valencia wallpaper, lovingly created in Nebraska. This wallpaper instantly transformed the room with incredible depth, texture, and some serious artistry. Beyond its beauty, the hand-painted finish added a richness that brought balance and somehow a calmness to the space, turning it into a restorative, boutique hotel-like haven. Thoughtful details like this do more than look stunning, they help to create an atmosphere where wellness can flourish.

And of course, what made this project truly special was working with our clients, Jeff and David. Their excitement and trust gave us the opportunity to design boldly, and the joy on their faces as the space came together was unforgettable.
To me, wellness in design isn’t only about the products we choose, it’s about the happiness, ease, and comfort that a home can bring to the people who live in it. Their joy is the heart of why I love what I do.
